A'Nyla Clerk
Undergraduate Research Assistant

My name is A’Nyla Clerk, I am a third-year Neuroscience B.S. student at Michigan State University. I serve as an undergraduate research assistant under the guidance of graduate student Ariana, investigating how birth mode and microbiota influence neural development. I have a strong passion for accessible healthcare, which drives my pursuit of a career as a physician. Additionally, I volunteer at a free medical clinic and work part-time as an Emergency Medical Technician. I hope that my time in this lab broadens my understanding of the intersection between research and clinical medicine. Outside of the lab, I enjoy gaming, playing the drums, and being active.
